Thin & light concrete facade slabs with 3D carbon textile reinforcement

At a new construction of the ready-made concrete division of Alphabeton AG, approx. 349 of these high-strength, ultra-fine facade panels were installed in a dimension of 865 x 1620 millimeters and a thickness of only 26 millimetres. Around 450 square meters of facade were designed in this way. In this case, a 3D carbon composite of SGL Technologies GmbH was used in cooperation with V.Fraas Solutions in Textile GmbH.

Repair of a sugar silo with textile-reinforced concrete

The textile concrete works for the repair of the sugar silage were carried out in about one month. The work covers approximately 4500m² of the upper silo inner wall at a height of up to 57m, removal of damaged concrete, preparation of the subfloor as well as reprofiling and installation of approx. 14,000m² of textile carbon fiber reinforcement TUDALIT-BZT2-V.FRAAS into a fine concrete.
